Safety Training

Prairie West aims to provide our employees with the best possible training to ensure proper safety when hauling your equipment. The minimal training that a driver must have in order to be employed by Prairie West is;

• H2S
• First Aid/CPR
• WHMIS
• TDG

We also encourage our employees to attend;

• Cargo Securement
• Hours of Service (Log Books)

Safety Equipment

All Prairie West trucks are equipped with GPS devices and safety devices such as; tire chains, 2-way radios, first aid kits, spill kits, accident/incident kits, fire extinguishers, PPE and emergency triangles that are all inspected once a month by the Safety Representative.
